While there are lots of makeup trends taking center stage, the classic Matte Finish Makeup is never old, and makes you look naturally flawless. So, here’s the step-by-step makeup tutorial of Matte Makeup Look.
1. Apply Matte Foundation
With a flat foundation brush or sponge, apply matte foundation all over the face and neck, and blend it well so that you have even color on both regions. We have tried L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation.
2. Long-Lasting Concealer
Opt for a full-coverage, long-lasting concealer like Mac Pro Concealer. Apply it under the eyes, center of your forehead, and to conceal the blemishes, spots and pimples on your face and under eyes dark circles.
Opt for a Contouring kit like NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette or a foundation that’s two shades darker than your skin tone to contour your cheekbones, nose and temples, jawline. Blend the darker shade well to ensure the color is subtle. Use setting powder to lock the makeup and give a makeover finish.
4. Neutralizing eye shadow base
Apply a Neutralizing eye shadow base on your eye lids to prime the eyes. Go for soft, cream eye shadows for matte look. Use an angled brush and apply the same shadow along the lower lash line to balance out the entire eye look. You can also opt for Orange Color Eyeshadow with Matte Finish Makeup
5. Fill-in the Brows
Well-groomed eyebrows frame the face. Shape the brows and fill in with an eyebrow pencil or eyeshadow with the feather-like strokes. Apply a coat of brow gel to set everything.
6. Curl your lashes and apply Mascara
Make your eyelashes lengthy and curly by curling your eyelashes, and apply two coats of volumizing mascara like Urban Decay Perversion for added drama. You can also add false lashes. Learn Mascara makeup tips and tutorials in our next post.
7. Add colour to cheeks & lips
Line your lips with a soft color lipliner, perhaps pink or peach and fill in the rest of your lips. Add a dab of concealer to the middle of your lips and blend them out to get that ombré effect. Dab on the matte blush sans shimmer and apply it on your cheeks and blend upwards towards your temples for a glow
